Well, talking about Integration between possibilities of comunnication here is an amazing example of that. (Sorry, I was thinking in Integration )

It is geonames data service (transport) for GE.
Next generation of ODBC connect.
I see the right russian placenames.

This process have next levels of extensions:
1. Next versions of client (GE)
2. Next version of background (native GE datasets).
3. Next version of dataservices (style, data, new system and analytical services)

NL now support "Placemark on geonames.org", "nearby wikipedia articles" and "Alternate Names or Name Variants"
